Stage 1: Hang Expancer
Our Hang Expancer is designed to widen the upper palate while advancing the upper incisors using a double helix spring.
Stage 2: Adapt-LGR / TPA Retainer
The Adapt-LGR® is designed to gently guide the lower jaw forward by subtly altering oral posture, aiming to correct facial growth patterns and improve jaw alignment, particularly by influencing the position of the tongue and promoting proper facial development.
The TPA retainer is designed to stabilize the upper dental arch, ensuring it remains in position during eating and physical activities.
Expanders
Expanders are orthodontic appliances designed to widen the upper or lower dental arches by applying gentle, consistent pressure. They can be fixed or removable and are commonly used to address crowding, improve bite alignment, and create more space for proper tongue posture.
Both types fit upper or lower arches and aid dental alignment, arch development, and oral health.
Fixed
Expanders
Designed for more moderate expansion, these appliances can be taken out for cleaning and eating.
They are often used for gradual widening in both children and adults, offering flexibility and comfort.
This appliance attaches securely to the molars, gradually expanding the upper or lower arches to improve alignment and bite function. Commonly used in younger patients for rapid or semi-rapid expansion.
Removable Expanders
Sagittal
The Sagittal appliance is specifically designed to create expansion in the anterior-posterior direction, making it an excellent option for reopening extraction spaces, advancing the upper or lower incisors.
3-Way Sagittal
The 3-Way Sagittal appliance is a versatile appliance designed to advance and expand the upper or lower arches in three dimensions. It can be customized with ball clasps or Hang clasps, offering flexibility and precision to address various orthodontic needs, including space creation and improved arch development.
Expander
The removable expander is designed to effectively widen the palate and support arch development in both children and adults. It is custom-fabricated for optimal retention, using Hang clasps, ball clasps, or C clasps, to ensure a secure and comfortable fit throughout treatment.
Expander for Braces
Used in conjunction with braces, these removable expanders widen the dental arches to create space for proper alignment. Fabricated with ball clasps for secure retention; easily removed with our handy hook for eating and cleaning.
Retainers
Retainers are essential orthodontic appliances designed to maintain the position of the teeth after active treatment. Retainers come in various types—see below for the different options we offer at our lab.
Sweep Retainer
The Sweep Retainer is an active appliance usually consists of a specially designed using an arch wire with a wider curve or "sweep" allowing it to distribute force more evenly across the anterior teeth.
Hawley Retainer
Hawley retainers can be designed to your needs whether it is with ball clasps,
Hang clasps, C-clasps or a Adams clasps for retention.
